Sound Ceremony

The healing medicine of sound

Have you ever heard about sound healing and how sacred music affects our brain? Have you ever realized that some particular sounds make you feel happier, more peaceful and calmer whereas another sounds and tunes make you feel more energized or agitated?

Sound has a big impact on everything on the planet, from bacteria and plants to human-beings and music can help us fight with depression, anger, anxiety, grief and boredom.

What is sound healing like?

You will come and allow yourself to relax by laying down and slowing your breath. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. It’s in this place of stillness that you participate by becoming more open and aware of each sound that comes in. Sound helps create the pathway to this place of stillness.

How do we define the energetic body?

Sound not only helps with inducing relaxation, but also has a way of moving through areas of blockage. These energetic blockage areas can be located in our physical bodies, our subtle bodies where our qi, our life force energy exists.

In Chinese medicine, meridians are the channels that the Qi flow through, and sometimes can have restricted energetic flow to our physical and subtle bodies, which causes stagnation, and imbalances that can eventually manifest in our physical bodies, which is why it’s important to look at healing and balance not only from a physical perspective, but as a complete holistic experience that includes mind, body and spirit

What is a Sound Ceremony?

This is an ancient, multi-dimensional form of sound healing meditation. The gong releases tone resonates and complex harmonics to the receiver that is deeply healing.
